Our trip to OR was our first trip as a family of 4. I was a little bit nervous about how both girls will do on the plane. They did great, with the Benadryl, that is. Half way through our trip Olivia said she was done with the plane.. Unfortunately I couldn't do anything about that :) Also, she didn't take a nap that day, so, clearly, she was very tired and extremely hyper (not a good mix). She was jumping on her airplane seat when the seat belt sign was on, and this is after watching The Mickey Mouse on the iPad, playing the Monkey Lunchbox on the phone, reading a book and having a snack.
Our whole trip took took about 9 hours: 2 hours in the airport + 1 hour plane delay + 4 hrs to San Jose + 45 min. on the ground in SJC + 1.5 hrs to Portland. That seemed like a long time for both girls! It was all worth it as we were excited to see our Oregon family and friends!!
