Creating memories with and for kids

I came upon this article on FB, I thought it was pretty good. Advices on how to make wonderful memories with and for kids.

1. Read to them. While reading, everyone becomes a part of the reading world.
2. Listen to them. Kids love to share something that is very important to them.
3. Hug them.
4. Create family traditions. (love this one!)
5. Share a meal. This creates trust and warmth in the family.
6. Tell them they are the most loved children in the world. Every kid needs to know he/she is special.
7. Celebrate. All children are different and are good at different things. Celebrate even small achievements.
8. Play together and spend time together.
9. Keep your promises. Never forget birthday parties, recitals, contests, competitions, conferences.
10. Love them. Show love in every word, gesture, action.
