Our December trip to CA

Back in December, Mike and I flew into CA for a weekend to go to Mike's work Christmas party. It was fun! Of course, we couldn't pass on getting together with my Aunt Ilona and Uncle Alex, and visiting Olga in Berkeley. We also met up with our newlywed friends Brian and Maria.

Before meeting with Olga in Berkeley, we went to the Emeryville Bay Street to stroll around the Mall. We also went to Jack London Square in Oakland. By the way, this is where Mike and I had our second date! For the curious minds, our first date was at Barnes and Noble Starbucks at Hacienda in Dublin :)

Getting back to our California trip. Check out this Christmas tree made out of... shopping carts! Can you believe it? This was at the Emeryville Bay Street mall.
