September updates: Beaverton Celebration Parade, and Teresa's visit

As part of advertising the Moms Club, our family has participated in the Beaverton Celebration Parade. We and other moms and kids from the Club were walking 5K while carrying the Moms Club banner and handing out flyers.

I was also very happy to see and spend time with my friend Teresa who came to Portland for work. As our plans to go to Multnomah Falls did not pan out, we spend a day walking the trail in our neighborhood, going out to lunch, briskly walking in the Cooper Mountain park, and then going for dinner to downtown Portland. It turned out to be a fun day.
