I have heard a lot about the Bavarian Leavenworth in Washington, and thought it would be perfect to see during December when everything is decorated for Christmas. I also expected that it would snow there, but it didn't. We still got the idea and saw all the beautifully decorated streets and visited many stores with Christmas decorations. It was fun! Would love to go back there in Spring at some point.
The reason we went in December is because I got a deal on Groupon. My parents joined us too which was a big bonus as they helped with the girls and spoiled them too!
Going to Seattle was a spontaneous decision. We were only 2 hours away, so we decided to go to the Needle. We were also going to go to the Waterfront, but the majority of it was under construction. We were very disappointed and immediately headed home. We completely forgot about visiting the Pike Market and the original Starbucks. In general, Seattle seemed busy, with lots of traffic and construction.
