I know, another list.. Just did one for the Fall.. But I love lists! They keep me organized and are very helpful for having fun! So, here we go: the Christmas bucket list.
1. Decorate for Christmas, inside and out - DONE
2. On December 1, mail out our family Xmas cards - DONE
3. Buy a chocolate Advent calendar - DONE
4. Take a picture/ have breakfast with Santa - DONE
5. Visit Santa at the Mall - DONE
6. Take the Polar Express trip in Hood River
7. See Xmas lights at the Grotto (maybe every other year) - DONE
8. See Zoo lights
9. See Xmas lights at Portland International Raceway
10. See a Xmas production in the theater, e.g. The Nutcracker or Disney on Ice
11. Go ice-skating
12. Go caroling
13. Do Xmas nails - DONE
14. Watch Santa's progress on the North Pole
15. Write a letter to Santa
16. Receive a message from Santa (www.santatracker.google.com) - DONE
17. Put together a family newsletter, and reflect on the passing year
18. Organize a white elephant exchange by theme (books, mugs, calendars, Xmas ornaments, candles, games, etc.)
19. Organize a gingerbread house decorating playdate or contest
20. Make gingerbread cookies
21. Learn a new Xmas cookie recipe
22. Make paper snowflakes
23. Make Xmas tree pizza
24. Learn at least 1 Xmas carol, all verses
25. Make candy canes from beads
26. Buy or make a gift for our sister
27. Buy a new Xmas ornament - Daddy and the girls do it - DONE
28. Watch a Xmas movie in a movie theater - DONE (Madagascar)
29. Watch a Xmas movie at home - DONE (12 dogs of Xmas)
30. Watch the Polar Express
31. Do a Xmas craft outside the house (e.g. Lakeshore Learning store)
32. See Xmas lights around the town - DONE
33. Kiss or hug under the mistletoe - need to buy one!
34. Buy and read a new Xmas book
35. Make a video singing Xmas carols

40. Have a traditional 12 dishes Ukrainian Xmas Eve dinner - DONE
